About Our Geolocation Database

We operate a comprehensive database containing approximate locations of wireless infrastructure including Wi-Fi access points, cellular towers, and IP addresses. This database powers our geolocation services that help applications and devices determine their approximate location.

Your Right to Opt-Out

If you prefer that your home Wi-Fi access point or residential IP address not be included in our location database, we respect your choice. You can request to have these identifiers excluded from our geolocation services going forward.

Processing Timeline: Opt-out requests are typically processed within 10 business days. Once processed, the specified MAC address or IP address will be blacklisted and excluded from our geolocation data.

How to Submit Your Request

To opt out your Wi-Fi access point or IP address, you will need to provide the following information:

For Wi-Fi Access Points: The MAC address of your router. This is typically found on a label on the bottom or side of your device. Common formats include:
AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF
AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF
For IP Addresses: Provide your home IP address (you can find this by searching "what is my IP" in your browser)

Consult your router's manual or manufacturer documentation if you need help locating the MAC address.
